Job Title: Engine BuilderLocation: Burton upon TrentHours: 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-1pm FridayContract Type: long term contract, likely temp to perm. payrate: competitive. We're recruiting for experienced Engine Builders to join a specialist engineering team in Burton upon Trent.
The role involves the refurbishment and rebuild of engines used in rail, marine, and industrial applications.Key Responsibilities:Strip and rebuild mechanical engine components to OEM standardsWork to technical manuals and assembly specificationsUse precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)Accurately complete job documentation and reportsMaintain high health and safety standardsCollaborate with other departments and support apprentices when neededRequirements:NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in motor mechanics preferred but not necessary.
