An accredited life safety and electronic security solutions provider in Newcastle is seeking a proactive Fire Service Engineer to support ongoing service, maintenance, and compliance works across the North East region.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Fire Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Servicing, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems in line with BS standards
* Carrying out remedials following service reports and ensuring compliance
* Providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive call-outs, and emergency support
* Working on life safety systems such as emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and detection devices
* Supporting electronic security systems with basic servicing and checks where required
* Completing accurate reports, site documentation, and handovers to clients
* Delivering engineering work to the highest professional and safety standards
This role covers the North East and involves working from depots and customer sites across the region.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role you will ideally have:
* Prior experience as a Fire Service Engineer or Security/Fire Engineer
* Knowledge of fire alarm servicing, testing, and compliance standards (e.g., BS 5839)
* A confident attitude working independently and as part of a team
* Strong reporting skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A full UK driving licence
You may also bring additional experience with emergency lighting, intruder alarms, CCTV or access control systems - all of which will be well received. xsngvjr
