FINEX, a dynamic global division within Willis Towers Watson, specialises in financial, executive, and professional risk solutions for clients ranging from mid-market firms to large multinational organisations across diverse industries.
This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of US-listed and US-domiciled clients, focusing on retention, new business development, and strategic placements. You will collaborate across teams and with underwriters to deliver market-leading solutions, ideally bringing experience in client servicing and Directors & Officers Liability insurance placement.
The Role:
Client Relationship Management:
1. Understand the clients’ business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service
2. Proactively maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop account service strategies for individual clients in line with BU process
4. Draw on expertise of specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as required
5. Support senior colleagues to determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
6. Lead and support on individual client programs where appropriate
7. Grow existing portfolio by identifying new, and/or existing opportunities
Broking:
8. Responsible for supporting the drive of the sales process and business area practice activity in relation to winning, retaining, and developing profitable new clients with a focus on US domiciled and US listed clients.
9. Gather information to understand a client# or prospect’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues
10. Manage relationships and negotiate placement with the insurance market
11. Prepare client and prospect presentations considering the impact of client profitability
12. Collaborate with colleagues to determine appropriate solutions and structuring and pricing the deal
13. Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy
14. Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
15. Ensure ongoing compliance with Willis Towers Watson guidelines and procedures.
Placement Management:
16. Work with senior colleagues to develop service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the client
17. Understand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and procedures, and manage compliant processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirements
18. Deliver high levels of the end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures, and service standards
19. Support the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of revenue
20. Communicate effectively with clients, associates, markets and others where appropriate to maximise service delivery levels
21. Manage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met
Other:
22. Share knowledge with colleagues to help drive a culture of collaboration and development

24. Support management and Willis Towers Watson in the management of risks applicable to BU
25. Any other duties commensurate with position or level of responsibility
