We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team here at Cherished Care Services to work in the Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge areas, covering weekends. We have availability for workers looking for up to 20 hours work.

Working times:

* 7am - 2pm
* 2pm -10pm
* 4pm - 10pm

Location: We have roles working in the Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge areas.

Pay: We pay excellent hourly rates of £12.25 per hour as well as 0.35p per mile paid for driving.

Who are we?

We are a domiciliary care provider where we support older adults to remain as independent as possible in the comfort of their own home.

We focus on person centred approaches. We have a mixture of clients, from people who just need a little extra support to remain independent to people living with Dementia and Parkinsons.

Key responsibilities:

* Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
* Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
* Accompanying to appointments or shopping
* Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Essential criteria:

* Positive person.
* Willing to be a team player.
* Professional manner at all times.
* Friendly attitude towards all staff and clients.
* Your own car, but we do have roles for people who don't drive as well, as long as you're able to make your way to the Wilmslow, Handforth and Alderley Edge areas.
* Ideally you're able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
* Please note - people do NOT need experience in care for this role. We are very much interested in your values as a person and we provide excellent training for all staff.
