Description
We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our DTO Production Development Department in Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Impact in this role includes:
1. Ensure Safety and Environmental Responsibility: Actively identify and correct hazards, use PPE, and engage in HSE training to create a safer workplace and reduce environmental impact.
2. Maintain High Product Quality: Adhere to quality procedures like SPC and poka-yoke, perform inspections, and manage non-conforming materials to support product excellence.
3. Achieve Reliable Production Output: Operate manual and automated equipment efficiently, meeting cycle times to ensure consistent product delivery.
4. Support Equipment Reliability: Perform routine maintenance and collaborate with trades to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
5. Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and process efficiency, fostering ongoing improvement.
6. Strengthen Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
7. Manage ETO and Logistics: Handle ETO stock, coordinate parts delivery, and prepare AFS shipments to ensure timely materials availability and customer satisfaction.
8. Contribute to Procurement and Supplier Coordination: Obtain quotes, place orders via Ariba, and liaise with suppliers to support cost-effective procurement.
