About the role
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants, based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and processing orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our premium products. It’s a great chance to be part of a well-established company in the industry. This is a part time, temporary role from October - December. Due to the seasonal nature of this role, annual leave cannot be taken between October and the end of December. Any holiday entitlement accrued during your employment will be included in your final pay at the end of the contract.
Main Responsibilities
8. Pick and process orders from a given pick list
9. Ensure orders are accurate
10. Stack items correctly for delivery
11. Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
12. Carry out stock replenishments
13. Ensure warehouse goals are met
14. Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
15. Shrink wrap products to pallets
16. Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
You will need
17. Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse
18. Attention to detail
19. Ability to lift heavy objects
20. Experience handling of electric pump trucks
21. Positive attitude
22. Self-Motivated; active
23. Safety conscious
24. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
25. Good communication skills; good spoken and written English
26. Ability to work well both in a team and alone
