About The Role
Crofton Springs is currently recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator to join the team at our state-of-the-art care home in Cheltenham.
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities that will delight our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging socialisation and hobbies among Residents. You will do all this with a sense of kindness and consideration.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should be able to manage your time effectively and communicate considerately with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating actions when necessary.
