About The Role
We are looking for a Deliverability Consultant to join our Messaging Operations team. In this role, you will provide strategic help to customers and internal stakeholders, support anti‑abuse efforts, and ensure that our email programs run optimally. You will handle critical operational functions, build ramp‑up strategies, provide consulting, respond to tickets, and educate customers.
Responsibilities
* Complete operational tasks such as building ramp‑ups, handling inbound support requests via Zendesk, and managing compliance.
* Provide consulting to customers experiencing deliverability challenges.
* Proactively identify opportunities to recommend deliverability consulting and communicate them to account owners.
* Assist the global sales organization with RFPs and other needs during the sales process.
* Champion Messaging Operations through internal advocacy, demonstrating the value of email deliverability expertise within the EMEA region and the wider business.
* Represent Dotdigital at industry events and in community forums, building new industry relationships.
* In collaboration with the team, develop and maintain deliverability best‑practice standards, and communicate these in written documentation.
* Stay current with applicable industry trends and best practices.
* Become an expert in the Dotdigital platform and the deliverability toolsets we use.
About You
* 1‑2+ years of experience in email deliverability (ESP or brand‑side).
* Detailed knowledge of factors that affect email deliverability.
* Ability to troubleshoot technical delivery issues and provide practical solutions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
* Independent research skills and ability to apply practical solutions.
* Skill in managing client expectations, prioritising competing tasks, and operating with transparency.
* Willingness to work across multiple time zones and flex schedule.
* Understanding of documentation importance, both writing and using it.
* Creative thinker and problem solver who enjoys stepping outside their comfort zone and is excited about deliverability.
* Team player committed to success of the whole team.
Additional Qualifications
* Working knowledge of DNS – especially SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
* Experience with SMS or other digital messaging outside of email.
* Experience with Kibana, Splunk or similar; Zendesk or similar; Monday.com or similar.
