About the role
:
1. Support pupils with special educational needs in accessing learning activities and the school environment.
2. Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
3. Provide one-to-one or small group support tailored to the student’s specific learning, emotional, or physical needs.
4. Help with personal care or physical support, if required by the student's needs.
5. Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of materials, and supervision of activities.

About you:
11. Support individual pupils or small groups with a variety of SEND—such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, sensory impairments, behavioural or communication needs—adapting to each child’s specific requirements
12. Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities under teacher guidance and help implement individual Education
13. Help manage classroom routines, transitions, and behaviour using positive reinforcement and behaviour strategies
14. Foster a safe, inclusive, nurturing learning environment that builds confidence, independence, and social skills

Salary
£13.68 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
