Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Account Manager to support the Account Management team. This role is responsible for managing a small portfolio of accounts, generating new sales opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service while working towards agreed sales KPIs.
The successful candidate will communicate the company’s services and solutions confidently, both over the phone and face to face, and will play an important role in building and developing long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales Support
Interrogate existing and prospective accounts to identify opportunities and organise meetings for the Account Manager in line with set KPIs
Manage a minor portfolio of company accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities
Work towards achieving individual sales goals and targets as agreed with the Sales Manager
Promote the company’s services and solutions to prospects and existing customers via telephone and face-to-face meetings
Meet and maintain acceptable sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Deliver high standards of customer care at all times
Attend customer meetings to strengthen relationships and increase the size and value of sales opportunities
Develop a strong understanding of the company’s value proposition and communicate it effectively to customers and prospects
Gain an understanding of customers’ key business objectives and future plans
