We’re recruiting skilled Electricians to join our long-term Ministry of Justice contract, delivering essential facilities management services that keep prisons safe, secure and operational. Why this role stands out Stable, permanent position on a long-term government contract Competitive salary: £30,866 – £36,135 (depending on experience) 39-hour working week with a structured rota 15% additional allowance for 1 in 3 weekend working Clear progression pathways into Team Leader and Site Management roles Full training & development, including support to gain 18th Edition if required What you’ll be doing Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs Undertaking electrical testing in line with BS7671 Supporting safe, compliant and secure environments Working both independently and as part of a wider facilities team What we’re looking for Level 2 Electrical Qualifications (or equivalent) 18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to upskill) Experience in maintenance or similar environments Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure A proactive, safety-focused approach We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates.
