Provide support to vulnerable children and young people in Hillingdon. Assess and manage high levels of risk, ensuring effective safety plans are in place. Conduct interviews with clients and relevant parties in various settings. Apply social work models and techniques to address client requirements. Collaborate with council officers and external agencies. Manage a complex caseload with high autonomy. Provide expert advice and professional supervision to other Social Workers. Prepare court proceeding reports and act as expert testimony. Participate in team planning and development processes. Skills Professional Social Work Degree or equivalent Registered with Social Work England Understanding of Children and Families legal framework and assessment process Ability to write reports to a high standard Leadership and management skills Collaborative with strong teamwork abilities Critical and reflective approach to practice Knowledge of current social work frameworks and practices Postgraduate qualification in relevant discipline (desirable) UK Driving License and access to own vehicle (desirable)
