Vehicle Technician needed in Ludlow:
1. Basic Salary:£38,000 (depending on experience)
2. Bonus: Time-saving bonus scheme
3. Overtime: Paid at time and a half
4. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am – 12:30pm (paid as overtime)
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician to join the service department of a long-standing, family-run main dealer in Ludlow. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, friendly team while receiving ongoing training and development.
You will carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicles are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
5. Perform servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles
6. Carry out fault diagnosis and report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
7. Work to manufacturer and dealership standards, ensuring quality procedures are followed
8. Support colleagues within the workshop team and contribute towards achieving department targets
9. Keep up to date with manufacturer training, including EV and hybrid systems
What's required for the the Vehicle Technician role:
10. NVQ/IMI Level 2 or above in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Level 3 preferred)
11. MOT licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided)
12. Full UK driving licence with minimal points
13. Strong attention to detail and a team player attitude
14. Capable of producing high-quality work in a busy main dealer environment
