It's an exciting time to join our MEP team! We have a proven track record working within the North of England, with offices in Leeds, Manchester, and more recently Scotland. Working collaboratively with our North division, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. Our team has a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities, and expert advice.
Your role will include:
1. Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of the electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across various building sectors.
2. Produce design deliverables including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
3. Support timely invoicing, debt chasing, management of WIP, and forward workload/resource planning for your projects.
4. Mentor graduates/apprentices and support their learning.
Our Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) division:
Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design. We bring buildings to life and create award-winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment, working across sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage, and residential.
Our services include:
* Building performance optimisation
* Carbon verification and validation strategies
* Daylight and sunlight studies
* Sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments
* Strategic utility management services
We offer a fresh approach to MEP, engaging early in the design process, collaborating with the design team, highlighting options, guiding development, and leveraging our expertise to assist clients in making key decisions.
Most importantly, you’ll find us a lively, good-spirited team, passionate about what we’re doing and enjoying each other's company – we’ll be sure to give you a warm welcome too! Check out our MEP project portfolio here.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Relevant qualification at HNC, HND, Bachelors, or Masters within electrical engineering or building services, and ideally chartered status or working towards it.
* Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer in the UK, leading electrical (and ideally M&E) delivery on various building services projects.
* Sound knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, and Amtech, with experience working with architects in a design role.
Please note we are actively looking to grow our team in Leeds and welcome applications from candidates at all levels. If you don’t quite meet the criteria listed above, please get in touch as we may have opportunities that match your skills!
