This is a broad and exciting Treasury Accountant role at the UK’s largest Water and Wastewater Company, in which you will gain exposure to our wider business and all elements of treasury.\n\nDo you pride yourself on being able to make a real difference through your commitment and passion in continuous improvement? Do you want to take your career to the next level by being part of the team responsible for one of the largest corporate debt programmes in the UK in support of our ambitious capital investment programme?\n\nThis role will give the right person an exciting challenge and scope to help shape the direction of Our Treasury team.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing as a Treasury Accountant as part of the Group Treasury team\n\nSupport half-year and year-end process, including preparation of IFRS financial statements and notes/disclosures for stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.\nPreparation of Regulatory reporting tables.\nPreparation of Group Treasury Annual Budget and Periodic Forecasts, and being reliable for the production of monthly Treasury reporting pack.\nResponsible for timely and accurate treasury accounting.\nUpdate/document Treasury accounting and reporting processes.\nIdentify process gaps and improve reporting processes.\nSupport for internal and external audit.\nDeliver/support treasury projects.\nWork closely with the Group Financial Accounting team to ensure that all Treasury data is correctly produced and presented.\nWork as ‘one team’ with the other finance functions.Base Location: Reading - Hybrid\nWorking Pattern: 36 Hours\n\nWhat you should bring to the role\n\nQualified or part-qualified ACCA / ACA with extensive experience in accounting and reporting experience.\nExcellent Excel skills.\nEffective communicator and strong attention to detail/accuracy.\nGood team player.\nFamiliar with SAP, HFM or similar systems.\nFamiliarity with Treasury Transactions and Treasury Management systems.What’s in it for you? \n\nCompetitive salary of circa £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.\nAnnual Leave - 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service.
