Responsibilities
* Support a group of 11 residents in a Supported Living setting in Carlton, meeting their learning‑disability and mental‑health needs
* Work on a rota covering day, evening, night and sleep‑in shifts (e.g., 7am‑3pm, 3pm‑10pm, and overnight)
* Assist with daily living activities, medication administration, personal care and hygiene
* Promote independence through choice, dignity and respect, in line with the charity’s “Your Life, Your Choice” vision
* Collaborate with other team members, share information and contribute to a positive, supportive environment
* Use specialist mental‑health training to manage challenging behaviours and support residents’ wellbeing
Qualifications & Skills
* Patience, empathy, compassion and sensitivity to others
* A strong work ethic, reliability and honesty
* Determination, resilience and problem‑solving ability
* Experience in care roles is valuable, but enthusiasm and a values‑based approach are paramount
