The role is based in schools throughout Sheffield, serving pupils across the S2 and S3 districts. In this role, the Special Educational Needs ( SEN) Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, support individual education plans, and create a calm, structured environment that promotes progress and confidence. Prime Responsibilities: Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom. Track progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a SEN Teacher or within a SEND setting. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
