We’re currently recruiting Aspiring Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and eager to learn.
About the Role:
As an Aspiring Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting students with additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social–emotional challenges.
Your day-to-day duties may include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Helping pupils engage with classroom activities
* Assisting the teacher in delivering tailored learning
* Encouraging independence and confidence
* Supporting children with emotional regulation and social skills
* Creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment
What We’re Looking For:
You do not need any qualifications or prior experience for this role. We’re looking for people who are:
* Compassionate, patient and reliable
* Willing to learn and develop new skills
* Confident working with children or young people
* Passionate about helping others reach their potential
If you have personal experience with SEN, youth work, coaching, care work, or volunteering, that’s a bonus—but not essential.
