Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a talented and results-driven national security (NS) focussed Growth Leader to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing growth campaigns to enhance our presence and market share across all areas of the NS market (excluding Home Office, NCA, MPS, MoD). Your experience in working with this market and innovative thinking will play a crucial role in driving success in a competitive landscape. Responsibilities 1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of the client landscape to identify key opportunities for growth, staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making. 2. Develop growth campaign strategies in collaboration with the NS Account Group leadership team, tailored to our client base. Campaign development should include target clients, potential partners to expand our reach, and key technology requirements. 3. Engage with clients to build strong relationships and drive business development effort through leveraging existing networks and actively seeking new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. 4. Lead the development of compelling proposals, both pro-actively and reactively, for NS contracts and projects working closely with IBM cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and IBM capabilities. 5. Being a results driven individual, define and track key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of growth initiatives, highlighting key achievements and areas for refinement and improvement. 6. Maintain eminence in the NS industry by participating in conferences, webinars and other industry events, and participating in value add, social value, and give-back initiatives which strengthen our brand in the community. Some additional tasks working with the UK Public Sector Growth leader may include: 1. Identifying and creating pan government campaigns such as Gen AI, Cloud, Channel Shift 2. Interlocking with our key hyper-scaler providers to ensure we have repeated patterns for selling Required technical and professional expertise 1. Strong understanding of the public sector in the UK, including government procurement processes, regulations and emerging technologies. 2. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the national security industry, including government agencies, contractors, and potential partners. 3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. 4. A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, adaptable to changing circumstances and capable of navigating a challenging business environment. 5. Possession of an industry security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is a requirement. 6. It is desirable if the candidate has some experience of working within a defence context within the UK.
