We’re looking for a Bar and Waiting Assistant to join our
team.
Warm, energetic, and guest-focused, you’ll create memorable
experiences through great service, exceptional drinks, and a relaxed yet
professional approach.
This varied role includes waiting, barista, and
cocktail-making duties at one of Cornwall’s most iconic beachside settings,
overlooking the waves of Watergate Bay.
What you’ll be responsible for
* Welcoming
guests with a relaxed but professional approach.
* Preparing
hot and cold drinks with flair, creativity, and consistency.
* Working
across all areas of our restaurant as part of our efficient and dynamic
team.
* Developing
your knowledge of the business while sharing feedback and ideas along the
way.
* Getting
involved in team tastings to better understand our menus and offer quality
guest recommendations.
* Keeping
the area you’re responsible for clean, tidy and organised.
* Managing
guest orders and billing accurately.
* Supporting
new team members with their training and development.
* Adhering
to our Health and Safety and COSHH regulations (training provided).
What we’re looking for
* A strong customer service ethos, with a keen eye
for the small details that make a real difference
* Previous barista, waiting, bar, retail, or other
customer-facing experience
* Excellent time management and organisational
skills, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in
delivering high standards
* The ability to work efficiently and effectively
as part of a supportive team
* Energy, enthusiasm, and personality in
everything you do
* A genuine passion for delivering an exceptional
guest experience
* Confidence using technology to support a smooth
ordering and billing process without compromising on guest service (training provided).
