As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commodities division, you will work to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role will have a significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to address diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications. A key focus will be delivering marking and pricing solutions for the global commodities business.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide technical guidance and support to the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
* Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
* Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.
* Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
* Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
* Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, with strong knowledge of Python.
* Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with expertise in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technologies.
* Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems with minimal oversight.
* Experience with cloud-native architectures.
* Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
