Part of the firm's Digital Marketing team this role is an attractive proposition for a creative, ambitious designer looking to work and develop in a friendly and stimulating work environment. We are looking for a creative individual, who can bring new ideas and flair to our graphic and digital design assets across all our channels. The role is responsible for creating and developing graphic and video assets to support the firm's internal and external communications, business development and marketing activities. The position includes the development of pitch and bid materials, brochures and presentations in support of our client facing teams and creating design assets, including animation and video, for our digital channels. The successful applicant will have excellent Adobe Creative Suite knowledge, be a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and with a proven ability to create compelling digital and print content that aligns with brand guidelines. Key responsibilities: Brand stewardship: Oversee and maintain brand consistency across all visual materials Content creation: Design and produce high-quality print collateral (e.g., reports, brochures, marketing materials) and digital assets (e.g. social media content, video, animations, website graphics) Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, BD and marketing teams, and other colleagues to develop design concepts and integrate visual and text elements. Visualisation of complex information: Translate sometimes complex information into clear, accessible, and visually appealing designs for various audiences. Project management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and deadlines. Essential Skills & knowledge Technical proficiency: Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video editing software and Canva. Experience of working with Descript an advantage. Understanding of and experience of using generative AI in a design context. Design fundamentals: Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, layout principles, and design proofing. Brand knowledge: A deep understanding of branding, house style, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all channels. Communication & interpersonal skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively understand briefs, articulate design decisions, and build relationships with internal clients and external suppliers. Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure quality control and high standards in all artwork. Problem-solving & initiative: The ability to generate original ideas, take initiative, and adapt to changing project demands. Inclusive design: Working knowledge of accessible and inclusive design best practices to ensure content meets the needs of all users. Qualifications and experience Education: A degree in graphic design, or equivalent professional qualification and significant experience in the field. Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing significant experience in creating impactful design across both print and digital channels. Professional experience: Proven experience working in a project environment, managing multiple workstreams, and engaging with internal stakeholders. Understanding of Regulations: Familiarity with regulatory, brand, and editorial guidelines, particularly those relevant to the legal sector. Who are we looking for? We don't have a type.
