Responsibilities
* Build rapport with customers and accurately assess their needs to recommend suitable products and services.
* Negotiate the sale price of vehicles, including possible trade‑in values.
* Calculate finance payments for cash or car loans.
* Maximise every sales opportunity to achieve vehicle sales and profit targets.
* Upsell accessories and additional after‑sales services.
* Proactively prospect new and existing customers to maintain your database and ensure repeat business.
* Create and coordinate customer appointments, schedule test drives and arrange handover appointments.
* Support the Sales Administrators in accurately processing all documentation relating to vehicle sales, including vehicle orders and finance agreements.
Qualifications
* Have a real drive and desire to produce results.
* Able to build outstanding customer relationships.
* Have a stable working history.
* Be a customer service champion who exceeds customers’ expectations in every element of their buying experience.
* Confident Excel user.
* Automotive industry or vehicle sales experience preferred; good sales track‑record outside the industry considered.
* A full UK driving licence.
