About the Role
As an Events Assistant, youll be the face of leading UK charities, helping to raise awareness and inspire long-term support through engaging, face-to-face conversations with the public.

Key Responsibilities
Support the setup and presentation of branded event stands, ensuring a professional and inviting appearance at all times
Engage with members of the public in retail and high-footfall areas to promote charitable causes in a warm and approachable way
Share clear, accurate information about charity programmes and the impact of public support
Build positive rapport with individuals and guide them through an ethical, secure sign-up process for ongoing support
Work closely with your team to achieve shared goals while maintaining a positive and respectful event environment
Provide feedback from each event to help refine campaign messaging and public engagement strategies
Adapt to various event locations and schedules with resilience, flexibility, and a can-do attitude
What Were Looking For
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, proactive, and confident when engaging with the public
Previous experience in events, sales, fundraising, or customer service is a bonusbut not essential
Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in busy public environments
A team-oriented mindset and self-motivated work ethic
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
A passion for charitable causes and making a positive impact
