An opportunity has arisen for experienced reception staff to work within the Emergency Department, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. We are looking for self-motivated people with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our team.
You should have a good educational background with at least two years of office experience, accurate keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
The posts will require the successful candidates to undertake a range of administrative duties including the use of specialist systems, dealing with patients and relatives enquires and updating of the department’s information system.
There are 3 posts available working between the reception and the clinical area of the department.
Post 1 is 22.08 hours per week and Post 2 is 21.08 hours per week and they are worked over a 6 week rolling rota.
Post 3 is 18.66 hours per week and is worked over a 3 week rolling rota. The hours worked are from 2200-0530am.Week 1 Monday & Thursday, Week 2 Monday, Saturday & Sunday Week 3 Thursday, Saturday & Sunday.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
