A school in Beaconsfield is seeking a dedicated Year 7 Transition Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This important role will help students adjust smoothly to secondary education, both academically and socially.The school is renowned for its focus on continuous improvement and creating a nurturing, supportive learning environment.
Staff work closely with students to help them achieve their academic goals while also fostering the confidence and skills they need to thrive.Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 7 students.Provide pastoral support to help students navigate the challenges of transitioning to a new school environment.Work collaboratively with both primary and secondary school staff to ensure a seamless transition for students.Monitor students' progress and deliver timely interventions to support both their academic and emotional development.Organise transition activities and orientation events to help students settle in.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience with Year 7 students or in transition roles is advantageous but not essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.Why Join Us?
