About The Role We are looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate our day-to-day business activities in our HQ and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors. As a thriving start up, Living Optics is a dynamic environment and requires a person who enjoys day-to-day problem solving and brings a positive approach and has the experience to take the burden of office and operations administration from the rest of the team. You will be skilled in understanding day-to-day business priorities, identifying areas for improved efficiency, and have a pro-active approach to implementing these improvements as the business grows. Manage the office day-to-day. Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services. Plan and order catering supplies. Assist with administration of finance, company secretarial and HR tasks. Assist the Exec team with diary planning and scheduling. Organise team activities and events. Contribute to our professional social media channels. Essential Requirements Understand business priorities and can translate those into what activities need to be done day-to-day. You will be organised and pay attention to detail – the executive team will trust that the detail has been checked and any key implications/concerns have been flagged appropriately. Work with processes and have experience in identifying when an existing process needs improvement to benefit the collective work effort. You know just the right point when implementing a new process will be more beneficial to ensure continued and smooth business operations and will support the transition to the new process. You enjoy working in an environment that is different every day You are a Culture Champion by role modelling and upholding the values of the organisation. You can manage the circulation of key legal, HR and business documents. You can manage the purchasing of equipment and supplies required by the business. You take concise and informative minutes at company meetings. Desirable Requirements Experience liaising with finance departments, purchasing and payments. Experience as an executive administrator.
