Physiotherapy Department – Frimley Park Hospital
27.5 hours – weekday and weekend rostered working
Surgery and Vascular wards and outpatient amputees

We are excited to announce a vacancy of a practitioner role on the busy surgical and vascular wards. You will be working with a team of experienced and dynamic physiotherapists, assessing and treating vascular, amputee and surgical patients. You will be integral to the outpatient amputee service, assisting the physiotherapist with patients waiting for their prosthetics.
Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose, and treat vascular, amputee, and surgical patients.
* Assist in the outpatient amputee service, including support for patients awaiting prosthetics.
* Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience
* Physiotherapy technician (band 3 or band 4) with acute hospital inpatient experience.
* Desire to work as part of the physiotherapy surgical team.
* Interest in the assessment, rehabilitation and onward signposting and referral of patients following admission to the vascular wards and outpatients.
* Excited to manage own caseload, treating non‑complex patients independently.
* Keen to help develop and supervise a member of staff in the team at band 3 level.
