Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: A 2nd Degree in Human Resources Management or Social Sciences Member of Global HR Body, Coaching or Organisation Development Experience Required Learning 8-10 years demonstrated workplace experience within the area of specialisation with evidence of exposure to leading teams (3-4 years' people management experience). Variety of experience both internal and external to the Financial Services sector. Additional Information Key Outputs Data Monitor the implementation of guidelines for the display and safe-keeping of learning-specific content across learning solutions; strengthen the operational functionality of the learning ecosystems and recommend improvements to enhance usability and enable integrated data/insights and people driven decision making. Drive quality assurance of learning-specific reporting, by driving sound learning data quality, so achieving integrated data/insights and people driven decision making. Strategy Assess the implications of the Learning take-to market and adoption strategy, aligned to the employee brand, to enable strategic achievement of the business and disruption-embracing learning strategy. Drive adherence to set minimum standards pertaining to learning methodologies and provide strategic thought-leadership regarding platform capabilities to favourably position Standard Bank learning in the organisation. Financial Management Provide financial oversight for managed risk, high innovation and growth by understanding the financial and business metrics and incorporating these into the design and positioning of well researched and holistic learning solutions with data and trends that inform learning content, methods and delivery. Prepare the CoE budget and manage financial performance against the budget to identify cost-saving opportunities. People Source and/or curate learning content for learning experiences that enable business areas to meet their current and future workforce capability priorities, driving implementation and monitoring effective adoption of interventions. Drive effective knowledge management and content curation by building forward-planning, sustainability and stability into learning capabilities, ensuring that business needs are met with the best resources. Risk, Regulatory, Prudential & Compliance Leverage relationships with various regulatory bodies e.g. SETA, unions, FAIS bodies etc., participating in relevant forums, using a good understanding of the larger People and Culture value chain, to ensure relevant L&D risk and regulatory compliance within the business. Adhere to the risk and governance framework for the respective CoE to ensure that risks are appropriately mitigated. Technology & Architecture Develop a deep understanding of the future needs of the organisation to ensure the right technology is in place at the right time to build the required capabilities for different segments of learners across the organisation. Optimise learning opportunities by investigating disruptive technologies or methodologies that position Standard Bank as a learning organisation and achieve business-leading learning experiences through simple & agile experience platforms within the Learning ecosystem. Organisation Design Advise and provide input into Group CoE operating model and work capability design for the CoE, to ensure the right people are able to deliver on the necessary functions and accountabilities.
