Teaching Associate Counselling Skills (707834)
The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL), within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivers a successful and well-regarded suite of counselling courses, including the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join our team to deliver an excellent student experience, work collaboratively, and expand our portfolio in counselling, health, and wellbeing provision.
As part of our extensive provision for adults, the Centre is now seeking to expand its counselling team to teach on the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of counselling practitioners and educators and to be part of a Centre that is entrepreneurial, people-oriented, and driven to harness new business opportunities.
The post would suit an experienced adult educator in counselling skills and theory, specifically the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills. Experience of online teaching and learning would be advantageous. The post will be based in CLL, but agile working arrangements can be discussed. There may be some out-of-standard-hours work required for teaching (evening and/or weekend).
