Due to continued success our reputable Family Partner is looking to further expand his team with the addition of a paralegal.
The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of Family Law and assist in a varied caseload.
The caseload includes but is not limited to divorce & separation, financial remedy & private children arrangements with a focus on non-court dispute resolution.
You will be working closely in a team of two, playing a key role in supporting the team and progressing matters.
The ideal candidate will be able to commute to our Sheffield office on a hybrid working arrangement.
Day to day duties:
* Preparing letters and legal documents with precision and accuracy.
* Engaging in client contact, providing support, and maintaining professional communication
* Undertaking general administrative tasks, including file management and organisation
* Ensuring all relevant documents are properly filed and accessible for efficient case management.
* Managing calendars meticulously, including court dates, deadlines, and meetings
* Drafting and preparing a variety of legal documents, including pleadings
* Reviewing and proofreading legal documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
* Interacting with clients to gather relevant information and providing updates on case status.
* Preparing clients for court appearances and meetings, ensuring they are well-informed and supported.
* Filing legal documents with the court and ensuring compliance with procedural rules
* Monitoring and tracking court deadlines and filings with meticulous attention to detail.

Experience
* Ideally completed law degree undertaken family law as a module on undergraduate degree
* Based in or around Sheffield
* Paralegal experience preferred but not necessary
