We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support the business during a critical period of change. The successful candidate will play a key role in a TUPE transfer process and provide day-to-day HR generalist support across a broad range of advisory responsibilities.
This is a full-time 3 month FTC with the opportunity for hybrid working surrounding the main project time-frame (4-5 weeks).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support on TUPE transfer activities, ensuring compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders
Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees in a unionised environment, maintaining positive industrial relations
Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering guidance on policies and procedures
Manage and advise on a range of employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and absence cases
Work closely with line managers to ensure consistency and fairness in the application of HR policies
Liaise with union representatives as needed, supporting consultation and negotiation processes
Ensure accurate HR record keeping and reporting in line with internal standards and employment legislation
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
Demonstrable experience managing TUPE transfers from start to finish
Solid understanding and hands-on experience working within a unionised environment
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Resilient, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
