Business Analyst (Billing/Payments)
Hybrid (1 day pw/fortnight onsite)

We are currently looking for two experienced Business Analyst's for an industry leading and ambitious financial services company based in Surrey. This role will have responsibility for both analysis and design on relevant Billing projects, whilst ensuring traceability of outcome through development, testing, training and business readiness elements of the project lifecycle.
The role:
* Develop deep understanding of Billing processes and associated business and customer experiences
* Use data-driven decision-making to analyse customer outcomes, broader MI, and complex business problems. Identify pain points and opportunities, prepare options, collaborate on solutions, and oversee them to resolution.
* Impact assessment of production incidents, analysis and coordination of solutions and remediation
* Support detailed design, documentation and build of the Billing processes and customer experience
* Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and create features and user stories, ensuring alignment with business requirements and customer needs
What we’d love you to bring:
* Experience gained in the insurance/financial services industry or in a regulated environment, with a focus on developing and enhancing billing processes or payments platforms/processes
* Experience in applying as-is and to-be analysis techniques to identify business problems and opportunities
* Ability to produce and manage features, epics and stories with acceptance criteria in Atlassian products, as well as other artefacts e.g., data mapping documentation.
* Experience facilitating workshops and meetings
* Experience in process analysis and improvement initiatives, certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma would also be advantageous
* SQL skills are preferred but not essential
* Skilled in managing relationships with key stakeholders at the mid-senior level.
* Ability to document the change ready for handover to Operational areas
* Experience conducting root cause analysis and taking ownership of solutions.
* Ability to identify and raise risks, issues and dependencies.
* Experience in the application of scrum agile practices.
* Sound knowledge of human-centred design tools and techniques
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal and build relationships effectively at all levels
