The Role: As a Logistics Yard Operative at Aqua Direct, you will serve as the central point of contact for both customers and drivers, ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of our Just in Time tankered water service. In this dynamic and hands-on role, you will support quality assurance, lead driver coordination, and maintain key operational systems. You will play a vital part in upholding our industry-leading standards in hygiene, logistics, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day delivery of tankered water to customers. Oversee driver scheduling, training, and one-to-one engagement, including agency drivers. Monitor driver performance using tools such as Webfleet and ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain high standards of QA, H&S, and hygiene, adhering to BRC, HACCP, and Operator Licence requirements. Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation (delivery notes, defect reports, driver checks, O Licence records). Support the development of training materials and conduct internal training sessions. Provide 24/7 support and communication via mobile and email, including participation in the out-of-hours emergency rota. Assist in managing sample analysis services to meet Aqua and customer standards. Foster long-term professional relationships with both suppliers and customers. Continuously develop and improve quality systems and operational reporting tools.
