About the Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll be an integral part of the finance function, assisting across a range of key accounting activities. This role offers development opportunities and full support with further studies and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support preparation of monthly management accounts
* Match purchase invoices to goods received and purchase orders
* Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers
* Assist with balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations
* Support credit control activities and payment processing
* Perform daily bank reconciliations
* Assist with UK and overseas petty cash management
* Help prepare payroll and contractor invoice processing
* Maintain financial processes and procedure documentation
* Support system updates (Caiman IQ) and monthly recharges
* Contribute to year-end audit preparation
* Prepare GRNI reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
* Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
About You:
* Essential: AAT Qualified
* Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Business Central
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Self-motivated and a strong team player
