Teaching SENCO - Blackpool
Full-Time (3 Days Teaching / 2 Days SENCO)
Contract: January - July 2026

Spencer Clarke Group is working with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching SENCO to join their team on a fixed-term contract from January to July 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a passion for inclusive education to make a real impact in the classroom whilst also leading the school's SEND provision. The role combines 3 days of teaching with 2 days of SENCO responsibilities, offering a balance of classroom practice and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring all pupils make progress.
Lead and manage the school's SEND provision in line with statutory requirements.
Collaborate with staff, external agencies, and parents to provide tailored support for pupils with SEND.
Identify and assess pupils' needs, planning effective interventions and monitoring outcomes.
Provide guidance, training, and support to colleagues to promote best SEND practice.
Contribute to statutory assessments, reviews, and reporting.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete within 3 years).
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
Experience of supporting pupils with diverse SEND needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
