Commercial Account Executive – Agriculture
We are currently recruiting for a fast‑growing independent broking group seeking a new Commercial Account Executive. This firm has impressive long‑term growth plans and an ambitious owner with an excellent market reputation, offering a great place for career‑motivated individuals.
They specialise in commercial insurance but this role will focus on the agricultural side, a new area the company is looking to develop.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Managing Director to drive forward the agriculture business, focusing on farming clients.
* Start writing new business from day one, with existing carrier relationships in place.
* Establish and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
* Operate independently while collaborating closely with the approachable MD, offering flexibility and autonomy.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in agricultural insurance sales.
* Located in Yorkshire or reasonably located to the area.
* Knowledge of Acturis preferred.
* Working towards a CII qualification is an advantage but not essential.
* Professional, driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
Offer
Salary range of £40,000‑£65,000 plus bonuses based on growth.
Working Conditions
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
