Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced commercial company near Exeter. You will be joining the business as part of a highly effective finance team on a 12‑month contract.
Finance Analyst – The Role
* Financial performance reporting/analysis.
* Variance analysis, accruals and pre‑payments for monthly reporting.
* Management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis including product profitability, actual sales performance, etc.
* Financial modelling.
* Business partnering operational teams providing insightful information on financial performance.
* Supporting and advising on finance related projects.
* Supporting controls and process improvements, developing and implementing solutions.
Finance Analyst – The Rewards
Salary: £39,000 – £45,000pa + benefits including 25 days holiday, ongoing support and development, etc.
Location: Hybrid role with 2 days per week in office.
Contract length: 12 months.
Finance Analyst – The Person
* We are keen to hear from accounting professionals with excellent commercial accounting and financial analysis experience.
* You’re likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or studying towards qualification.
* You will be a self‑starter with a desire to work in a fast‑paced, change environment where you will be hands on.
* A first‑rate communicator able to build effective relationships as well as business partner operational colleagues.
* A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills.
* You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
* Advanced Excel skills including use of formulas, look‑ups and pivot tables are essential.
Please note as this is a hybrid role, candidates need to live within commuting distance of Exeter.
