The Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Agriculture to join a leading specialist education provider within the land based sector. This role would suit an experienced agricultural professional or educator who is passionate about developing the next generation of industry talent. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high quality teaching across agriculture‑related programmes, helping learners achieve outstanding academic and practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality teaching and learning across agriculture programmes
* Inspire and motivate learners through engaging classroom, workshop and practical instruction
* Support students in achieving excellent outcomes within qualification frameworks
* Monitor, assess and accurately record learner progress
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
* Promote a positive learning environment and encourage enthusiasm for the agricultural industry
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the learner experience
* Maintain accurate administrative records and comply with quality assurance requirements
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives where required

The Candidate
* Strong agricultural industry experience within livestock production, crop production, agricultural mechanisation, agricultural business management or a related discipline
* Genuine passion for sharing knowledge and supporting learner development
* Previous teaching, training, coaching or mentoring experience advantageous, although not essential
* Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one with employer support
* Relevant degree, qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues and industry stakeholders
* Enthusiastic, approachable and committed to delivering high‑quality education
* Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within an educational environment would be beneficial
The Package
* Salary of £35,000 - £44,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
* Permanent, full‑time position working 37 hours per week
