Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.
You’ll bring together data, insights, and evidence from a range of sources on palliative care and end of life issues in NI and turn information into clear, relevant findings that support policy, service design and delivery, and commissioning. Working closely with our Northern Ireland leadership, Caring Services, and Policy & Public Affairs teams, you’ll help ensure decisions are driven by strong, meaningful evidence.
This is not a research role it’s about using and interpreting existing data to tell a powerful story and drive impact.
What you’ll do:
* Gather and interpret evidence to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities in end-of-life care.
* Translate complex research and evaluation data into clear insights that inform service improvement, commissioning, and fundraising.
* Produce engaging evidence summaries and briefings for senior leaders, partners, and government.
* Support the Policy and Public Affairs team with robust evidence to strengthen our influence.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across health, academic, and voluntary sectors.
What you’ll bring:
* Strong analytical and evidence management skills.
* Experience using data and insight to drive improvement or policy change.
* A proactive approach to using evidence to influence decisions and drive change.
* Experience reviewing data, synthesising findings, and communicating them in accessible, meaningful ways.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* A passion for making a difference to people’s lives at the end of life.
* A full driving licence and access to a car.
