This role is full time in the office
Hours Monday-Thursday 9-5pm
Friday 9-4pm

Key Responsibilities
•Manage and lead multiple audit assignments from planning to completion for a varied client portfolio.
•Supervise audit and accounts teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff and ensuring compliance with audit and accounts methodology.
•Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure technical accuracy and completeness.
•Manage Audit & Accounts teams workloads.
•Run weekly update meetings for all Audit & Accounts team reporting to the directors.
•Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day audit matters.
•Monitor audit budgets, reporting variances and ensuring efficiency in delivery.
•Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients.
•Keep abreast of relevant financial reporting and auditing standards.
•Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in proposal development.
Skills we need from you –
•ACA/ACCA qualified, with a minimum of 3–5 years post-qualified experience in audit.
•Proven experience in managing audit assignments and teams within a practice environment.
•Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards.
•Commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities.
•Meet monthly planning targets.
•Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel) and Accountancy Software such as IRIS, TaxCalc, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
•Proactive in your approach.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Able to work under pressure and hit deadlines.
•Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
