The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will carry out a mix of maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a range of systems—including VRFs, split-type air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment. You will also be involved in installations, testing, commissioning and completing required documentation to ensure compliance. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and you’ll be part of a skilled, friendly team that prides itself on delivering best-in-class service. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine planned maintenance, inspections and service works * Diagnose faults, identify issues and carry out repairs proactively and efficiently * Demonstrate strong knowledge of F-Gas requirements * Test AC installations in line with regulations, recording results via digital systems * Install and commission new AC systems (heating and cooling), ensuring full compliance * Provide clear and confident technical advice to clients when on-site * Repair or replace key AC components, assessing required parts * Ensure all work meets the latest legislation and industry standards Requirements * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar AC Engineer role * F-Gas qualification (C&G 2079) – Essential * NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration – Essential * Strong technical understanding of current F-Gas regulations * Comfortable using PDA/compliance systems * Excellent communication, organisation and customer-service skills * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Clean UK driving licence * Clean DBS What’s in It for You?
