handling a mixed and complex caseload in a fast‑paced environment, delivering outstanding client service, and contributing to team growth in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice to employers and employees on employment matters.
* Handle TUPE, redundancy, and transfer‑of‑undertakings issues.
* Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
* Advise on restrictive covenants, confidentiality breaches, and workplace disputes.
* Draft and review employment contracts and staff handbooks.
* Conduct legal research and analysis.
* Draft court submissions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
* Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel.
* Collaborate with Partners and colleagues on client strategies.
* Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives.
* Mentor junior team members as the team expands.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years PQE in Employment Law.
* Proven experience with employment tribunal claims and complex cases.
* Strong communication, negotiation and client‑management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
* Proactive approach to business development and marketing.
