About the Role
Are you an experienced Security Engineer looking for your next challenge? At Gough and Kelly, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our growing team, delivering high‑quality security solutions to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical experience in CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems who takes pride in their work and enjoys providing excellent service on‑site.
Responsibilities
* Install, commission, service and repair CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
* Ensure repairs and installations of systems are to a high standard and completed in a timely manner.
* Meet with clients and ensure a first‑class service delivery when on‑site.
* Work to company/client deadlines on installations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience of installations, commissioning, maintaining, servicing, and repair.
* Experience of front‑line customer contact.
* Self‑motivation to work alone with a willingness to show initiative.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability.
* Must be computer literate as you will be working with IP equipment.
* Must be willing to work away from time to time.
* Engineering experience of 5+ years minimum.
* A proven track record in the security sector.
* Experience with Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton - essential.
* Experience with Ccure, Axis and Milestone - desirable.
Required Licences and Certifications
* NVQ Level 3 qualified.
* Driving licence essential.
Salary
£15.00 - £18.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Position
Permanent, full‑time.
40 hours per week with overtime available at a premium rate.
