Specialist Teacher – Join Our Inclusive and Aspirational Team We have an exciting career opportunity for a Specialist Teacher to lead in our newly formed Inclusion Hub supporting children with communication interaction needs. Flexible working hours either part time or full time. It is a fixed term contract and is subject to funding from the LA currently up to 31st August 2027. The Inclusion Hub is part of the mainstream school and will be dedicated to the educational and social development of children who have Complex Communication Needs. This role will strengthen our already highly successful provision for a small number of pupils with complex needs. Keeping Children Safe in Education The Woodroffe school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
