About The Role
As Associate Nurse Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care across acute and community services. Working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, you will ensure excellence in nursing practice, drive service improvement, and champion the professional development of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Provide visible and inclusive leadership across South Lanarkshire's health services.
Drive the quality, safety, and improvement agenda for nursing and midwifery.
Support the delivery of strategic priorities aligned with NHS Lanarkshire’s values and ambitions.
Ensure robust governance and professional standards across all care settings.
Foster collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and the local community.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and resilient individual with:
Current NMC registration and substantial post-registration experience in senior nursing leadership roles.
A strong track record of leading change and delivering measurable improvements in care.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across disciplines and agencies.
A passion for nurturing talent, promoting innovation, and advocating for patients and staff alike.
