Field Sales and Account Manager
Our client, a specialist provider of wireless safety and alarm solutions, is seeking a proactive and organised Field Sales and Account Manager to support continued growth through inbound enquiry handling, field-based activity, and reseller support. This highly autonomous role offers flexibility in how and where you work, balanced with collaboration at the company’s Brackley office when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Set up and maintain accurate customer records within the CRM/database system
- Arrange and conduct site visits and surveys for prospective customers
- Support and develop reseller partners, including joint site visits where needed
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term reseller and customer relationships
- Prepare and issue quotations based on site requirements
- Provide customers with clear, non‑technical product guidance and support
- Proactively follow up quotations and drive order conversion
- Process confirmed orders through internal systems
- Conduct post‑delivery follow‑ups to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain rigorous records of all interactions, activities, and next steps within the CRM
- Use CRM‑driven task management to plan daily activities and ensure no opportunities are missed
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a sales, business development, or account management role
- Comfortable managing both inbound enquiries and proactive follow‑up activity
- Strong organisational skills with disciplined CRM usage
- Confident in conducting site visits and engaging customers face‑to‑face
- Ability to explain technical products in a clear, accessible way
- Experience working with resellers, distributors, or partner networks (desirable)
- Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
- Full UK driving licence
Location, Remuneration and Benefits
- Location: Brackley, hybrid 1–2 days in office, 2–3 days field‑based, flexible hybrid working environment (home, field, office)
- Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum basic salary (DOE) + 20% of salary as a performance‑related bonus, up to £48,000 OTE (DOE)

About the Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be personable, proactive and confident in building customer relationships. Previous sales or account management experience would be useful, but communication skills, customer focus and a willingness to learn are equally important, as full product training can be provided. This role suits someone organised, self‑motivated and comfortable following up enquiries, managing customer conversations, maintaining accurate CRM records, and representing the business professionally during site visits and reseller meetings.
