Offer description

The role of a EO Caseworker will include:

* Undertaking Council Tax casework, such as new entry to the list, deletion, and reconciliations, processing these using the Valuation Operating System (VOS)
* Carrying out property inspections within the Council Tax National Team ensuring that strategic targets are achieved.
* Liase directly with customers, in writing, over the phone and face to face.
* Working within current legislation and organisational policy and guidelines.
* Following robust research of a case and potential inspection of a property, attend Valuation Tribunal Hearings as expert witness, representing the Listing Officer. This may be remote or in person.

The successful candidates must be willing to travel. Once trained, you will be expected to travel to property inspections across the country on a weekly basis, alongside a blend of attendance at the office and working from home. Occasional overnight stays may be necessary, but these are not a regular requirement.
