Full-Time Cover Supervisor (Secondary School) – Romsey (Part‑Time Hours, Term‑Time Only)

About the Role
* Position: Full‑Time Cover Supervisor (30 hours/week, term-time only)
* Start Date: As soon as possible (following all safeguarding checks)
* Salary: £27,779–£30,564 FTE per annum (pro rata: approximately £19,318–£22,027)
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee a variety of classes when the regular teacher is absent
* Ensure students remain focused, motivated, and engaged with pre-prepared work
* Maintain a calm, positive, and productive classroom atmosphere
* Manage classroom routines: calling registers, handling behaviour in line with school policy, collecting completed work
* Communicate effectively with staff to support smooth lesson delivery and follow-up
Ideal Candidate

* Team-oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage classes with confidence and clarity
* Strong classroom management aptitude (full training is provided)
