The Role
Own a set of customer accounts end-to-end: booking jobs, tracking, resolving issues fast, and protecting OTIF and margin.
What you’ll do

Booking & Pre-advice: Create jobs
*
Track & Trace: Live-monitor, chase missing info, misroutes, damages; push proactive ETAs.
*
Customer Comms: Manage phone/email queues, arrange reschedules and timed deliveries.
*
Exception Handling: Triage failed deliveries, refusals, shortages/damages, oversize freight; agree next actions and log claims with evidence.
*
Internal Liaison: Coordinate with Traffic/Planning, Warehouse, Drivers and the destination depot to keep freight flowing.
*
Billing/Admin: Validate surcharges (oversize, out-of-area, tail-lift), raise credits where justified, and keep CRM notes clean.
*
Continuous Improvement: Spot repeat offenders (packaging/access), suggest process fixes, update customer SOPs.
What you’ll bring

Experience in a logistics customer service role.

Confident, professional communicator (phone & email) with a calm, solution-focused mindset.

Able to start immediately and hit the ground running.
Nice to have

Knowledge of OTIF metrics, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Basic Excel/Google Sheets for trackers and reports.
